Lettering can also be drawing, which is one of the reasons I fell in love with lettering when I was in high school. I really like this calligraphy example. I like doing fanciful letters that do something visually instead of just communicating a message.
I did the journals with my second year students with 98% of them successfully completely them. We block printed the covers too.
I know I have bought some of your cards before I knew who you were because they are so beautifully conceived.
