Since 1989 I have been completing a wide range of assignments for local, regional, national and international companies. Creating calligraphic titling for Eddie Bauer catalogues launched me into the realm of commercial work after my training in the traditional lettering arts was complete. Lettering for package design, wine labels, corporate identity, seasonal campaigns and corporate publications has been ongoing in my studio. I began working as an illustrator and calligrapher for the greeting card industry in 1998, and that also continues today.
My services include comp work for concept exploration to full, finished work for broad application. I no longer accept traditional calligraphy jobs such as custom poetry, envelope addressing, or wedding documents.
I have the capability of delivering all artwork as digital files, whether in single files bitmap format or PhotoShop layers. When a high quality vector file is required, professional vector conversion is available as a separate service.
