My font, Inscripta, was used for the name of the company. A border suggesting cacao beans, seeds, nuts and other healthful ingredients.
One can't complain about having been assigned, over the years, the tasty task of designing logos for cookie bakeries (
Ruth's Brownie Kitchen,
Shoebox Bakery), a chocolate company (Seattle Chocolates), and various food and beverage companies. Earlier this month I completed a logo and hangtag design for a startup chocolate confection company. O!Mega Chocolates has been launched here in western Washington as of December 10. Their website will be up and going soon.
My own font entitled Inscripta was used for the name. Based on ancient letterforms from various cultures, Inscripta complements the illustrated borders. The border coloring was done digitally after a basic black line drawing was completed.
The owner of O!Mega Chocolates is a chocolate lover who had to create an alternative to commercial candy for the sake of her own health. Thus was born her trademark cacao-rich, raw food bonbon. Pictured here are four of her chocolates nestled in festive wrap for the holidays.
